Nate Dogg dies at 41

Nate Dogg, one of the most recognizable and smooth voices in rap and R & B, has died. He was 41.

Born Nathaniel Hale, Nate Dogg suffered from ill health for years. His death was first reported in the Long Beach Press-Telegram.

The cause of death is not immediately known, though the Press-Telegram reports that he suffered two strokes, one in 2007 and another in 2008. TMZ reports it's confirmed Nate Dogg's death.

The hook singer first came to national attention on Dr. Dre's 1992 masterpiece "The Chronic." Nate earned the first of four Grammy nominations in 1995 for "Regulate," a collaboration with Warren G. His fourth and most recent nomination came for Eminem's "Shake That" in 2007.

Game and the rest of the Black Wall Street Crew took over Club Colony in Hollywood on Monday to celebrate the success of the recently release mixtape entitled "Purp and Patron".

The club was star studded with actors and models such as Megan Goode and a host of others. Also football players and basketball players such as Ron Artest showed up and was blessed with a Black Wall Street chain. Does this mean he is BWS? Wait and see. Los Angeles Lakers Shannon Brown along with is wife, RandB sensation Monica, were in attendance.

Christmas in Compton

Compton born recording artist The Game and Director Taydoe TV collaborated to provide Needy Families in their hometown with toys and clothes in the city of Compton during the holiday season. They also collaborated with Christian artist Eastwood and Institute for Maximum Human Potential (IMHP).

December 23, 2009 The parking Lot of Mount Pilgrim Church in the city of Compton starts to fill with families waiting for Christmas to arrive. Inside, the church's reception hall, a lady in a red santa hat along with other representatives from the Institute for Maximum Human Potential (IMHP), Black Wall Street, and Taydoe TV work frantically to prepare the stations for the families. Along one wall is a mountain of clothing donated by Black Wall Street, Famous Stars and Straps Clothing line, Christian Audigier, Karl Kani and several individuals. Volunteers are assigned to separate the clothes into male and female and arrange them on tables by size. Meanwhile other volunteers are frantically sorting toys donated by Mattel, Highway Patrol, IMHP, The Game, Black Wallstreet, Taydoe Productions and several other individuals into male, female and gender neutral sections. Once the Family had selected their choices they had the opportunity to have their pictures taken with The Game, Eastwood, Mrs. Brown and Taydoe.

Dontay “Taydoe” Kidd of Black Wall Street beamed as he watched the vision come together. He had spent the last few weeks soliciting the majority of the clothing given away at the event. “I am so happy we were all able to do this. The Game and I grew up here in Compton. We knew that it was time to show our town some appreciation, so when the opportunity arose to do this event I told him he had to be a part of it.” And he did, The Game ended up staying after all the families had received their items to encourage some of the young children who were dancing in the Church parking lot.

Taydoe got the bad news about Michael Jackson and he called Game, since he knows he was a fan of MJ also. "Damn that's crazy. I gotta pay my respects. I'm doing a tribute song!, Game said." Taydoe's first thought was to edit a tribute video from Taydoe TV. But when he came up with this brilliant idea, it was only right to collaborate and direct a video to accompany the song. Taydoe sent one camera to the hospital, one camera to the house and one camera to the studio to ensure we cover all avenues on this day. During the editing process, the footage was so monumental in the sense that everyone was together and enjoying each other's love for MJ. Taydoe enjoyed the process of directing this Tribute video and feel honored to be a part of history.

Los Angeles based radio station Power 106 has annouonced their mega concert PowerHouse will be held on June 21, 2008 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, with the lineup so far being The Game, Ice Cube, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, T-Pain, and Colby O'Donis. Today was the photoshoot for the cover of the new album by the Game to be released in early September. The photographer will be John Mannion, who was also responsible for the covers of The Documentary and Doctor's Advocate.

The photoshoot will take place near the LAX aiport, Downtown LA and Hollywood, CA. The photoshoot will begin at a tire shop at 7am. Taydoe TV will be there to have some video and stills from the photoshoot. Stay tuned!
